Marinho Nobre is a composer, recording artist, and music producer skilled in electronic, orchestral, world music, and other styles. As a multi-instrumentalist with broad exposure to music, Marinho strives to bring emotion and flow to his albums, film scores, and production works.
Born as the only musician in the family, Marinho picked up his first guitar at age 12. While primarily self-taught, his formal learning began at the Zimbo Trio Music School and FAAM University in Brazil and later continuing in New York at The Juilliard School, focusing on composition under Conrad Cummings and orchestral conducting under Maestro Vincent La Selva.
Marinho's influences have roots ranging from classical, jazz, new age, world, lounge, electro, pop, metal, industrial, and everything in between.
A five-time winner in the Best Score category at the Park City Film Music Festival, Marinho is also a voting member of The Academy of Recording Arts a.k.a. Grammys ®. Currently based in Los Angeles, Marinho continues exploring new sounds, taking on new projects, and expanding his ever-growing palette of cinematic and world music tracks.
